Gasibu has long been known as Bandung’s icon. Together with the government, we worked to revitalize this historical place to represent the milestones of West Java through environmental graphic.
For Gasibu’s logotype, we adapted the shapes of Sundanese letters. This logo was then implemented in a rust-treated sign, integrating it with its surrounding landscape architecture design. In practice, the treatment is also used to prevent the sign from being vandalized.
The shapes of Sundanese letters are adapted to Latin alphabet, creating an easily readable logo with historic character.
