A café located in the street of Braga. Known as a historical area, Braga Street is filled with sternly built Dutch-colonial style buildings. When we first starting to work on this project, we do not want to see colonial style buildings in a romantic shade, they are indeed important parts of our history as Indonesians, but we aim to give Braga some refreshments.

For the visual identity, we utilize fluid & reflective forms based on the concept of “an oasis in the daily life of the city”. Those forms are also implemented in various graphics and interior elements of Umbira in combination with stripped back spatial design. The amalgamation of those elements resulting in a distinctive and organic ambiance.
