April 26th of 2019 marks the third installment of BAHASaturasi, the launching event and discussion for Saturasi. In its fifth edition, Saturasi touches on the subject of music. The event proceeded with presentations from Fandy Susanto of Table Six, Wiyoga Nurdiansyah of Wiyoga Nurdiansyah Architects, and Kukuh Rizal of Sun Eater Coven before the discussion takes place. The first presenter, Fandy Susanto, detailed his approach on designing for music-related projects–in line with his writing for Saturasi. Wiyoga Nurdiansyah then recounted his experience in designing the stage for Tulus’ Konser Monokrom in an arrangement that minimizes the gap between performers and audience while also making each performer visible. The last presenter, Kukuh Rizal, explained the role of design and branding from a label and talent management company’s perspective. The presentations and discussion exhibit the convergence between different creative fields and their relation to music, much like the subject of Saturasi’s fifth edition.
